I have not seen "Cinderella Man" but I will rate the rest.

2. "Rocky"
3. "The Fighter"
4. "Ali"

I came in here solely to see if you had Raging Bull on your list, thinking you didn't, and was about to ream you for it and put you on blast for not being a real boxing fan and not being qualified to make such a list as a thread topic starter, but to my surprise, you passed the test.

Well done. I can care less how anyone rates boxing movies as long as Raging Bull is first by default and Rocky is in everyone's top 3.

Maybe it's because I've only seen it once and I was like 15 at the time, but I didn't particularly like Raging Bull. Love the other 3 (well, technically 8) that I've listed, though. The Rocky series is a clear favourite of mine; hard to choose between Ali and The Fighter for second place.

I've yet to see Cinderella Man.

Never thought I would agree with Check Hooks. Great order. This guy obviously knows his movies. Rocky is definitely the better film overall. Raging Bull is great and I would tie it with The Fighter. Ali was solid, but not great. As a standalone film Cinderella Man was great, I prefer it to Ali. But for boxing it isn't the strongest film.

You guys didn't list Millionaire Dollar Baby though? C'mon! Speaking of which that book is one of the best boxing books I've ever read. Amazing short stories.

Raging Bull is a great film... I enjoyed it... Had some (unintentional?) funny moments.

Ali is seriously underrated... It had the best scene out of all these movies.

Ali-The Fighter are equal... Both flawed, both Oscar nominees (I personally like Ali better, but that's only becuz Ali > Ward by a lot... Like, literally the universe)
