The referee for the July 19 junior middleweight title fight between Ishe Smith and Carlos Molina at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will be Vic Drakulich.

Drakulich was selected at the June 28 meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission.

The other candidates to be the third man in the ring for that bout were Kenny Bayless and Jay Nady.

The judges, meanwhile, will be Dave Moretti and Glenn Trowbridge of Nevada, and Barry Druxman of California.

Me cause I'm glad Molina is getting his title shot but I think its gonna be an ugly fight...

I agree. I think that Carlos Molina really deserves to fight for a title. He has been a solid dedicated boxer than in few fights should have been the victor but unfortunately judges, silly DQ, etc. deprived him from the W. And I think that Vic Drakulich is a decent referee who I hope won't affect in any way the result of this fight.

I'm interested as well, his hometown in Mexico is close to my families and we don't get a alot o athletes in that region so for him to be getting a title shot is big to me

Nvm I do know this guy. I had to go look him up. Cant say I remember any of his actions tho (questionable or not).

I took a pic with Vic in Vegas at the Floyd-Ghost fight. Maybe the nicest dude I ever met. Both him and Kenny Bayless. Almost seems like no one ever talks to them or ask them for pics. Both really nice, quiet, humble guys
