An angry Tony Thompson has hit out at critics and fans who believe his win over David Price was a fluke.
The Washington DC southpaw stopped Price (15-1) in two rounds back in February and has arrived in Britain for their rematch at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Saturday 6th July.
Double world heavyweight title challenger Thompson (37-3) fumed: “People who think I was lucky in our first fight know s**t about fighting.
"People want to make excuses about why people aren't successful, but people who tell David that aren't doing him any favours because I am a bad motherf***er and I am going to prove that.
"I have lost three times - twice against Wladimir Klitschko and I think people forget that.
"That pi***s me off. Who has beaten Wladimir in ten years? Nobody. Who has test Wladimir the most in ten years? Me.”
