Hekkie Budler and his trainer will take a keen interest in a fight that takes place in Dubai on Friday night.
Colin Nathan, who trains Budler, expects Denver Cuello to beat Xiong Zhao Zhong and take over the WBC minimumweight title. This could pave the way to a unification fight. Budler holds the IBO title.
Nathan feels Cuello, who is from the Philippines, can beat the Chinese star but says the result could go either way.
"I think the champion is on borrowed time. Cuello is a good fighter who has been the No 1 contender for some time, and he wants it more than the champion," Nathan said this week.
