Some top fighters are fans and follow the sport and some don't. Holyfield clearly does not follow the sport very well aside maybe his division of course. He probably only knows mayweather and pacquiao outside of his division.

I know pacquiao does not follow boxing that much. There's a a vid that showed pacquiao did not have a clue who brandon rios was when a reporter asked him what he thinks of him and this was a couple of years ago when rios was already making noise after wars with antillon, acosta, peterson.
