Darchynian's team has expressed interest (although in reality it would be a step back). And if for some reason a rematch with old Vic doesn't happen then Nonito could face another old an small fighter in Jorge Arce, who recently announced that he will end his retirement. Nonito again would look great against Jorge and after the lost the mex would be again praising Donaire (Jorge saying that he lost to the best). End of a happy history specially for pinoy fans.

It's awesome how Rigo has said absolutely nothing, just straight-up boss'd and continues to wait while this clown keeps putting out press release after press release mentioning Rigo like he actually wants to fight him.

Fighting Rigo should not be the number one goal. I do not see him beating Rigo at this stage. Maybe 1 more year. Donaire needs seasoning. Rigo looks unbeatable in this weight class. Fighters have to wait for Rigo's skills to go south.

He is better off fighting a weak champion in the next weight class.

When Donaire's contract runs out he needs to sign with GBP. I'd love to see him fight Mares or Santa Cruz.

He'll probably never be able to beat Rigondeaux, unless maybe if he gets a new trainer.

Agree. Donaire is better off pursuing a fight with Mares. Maybe Top Rank will be forced to negotiate as no one will ne interested in any fight between Donaire, Darchinyan or Rigo. If Donaire loses to Rigo again, Donaire might be pushed to retirement or in the active state of boxing irrelevance.
