i think at this time floyd needs canelo more than canelo needs floyd. the pressure from showtime probably the reason why this fight even happened in the first place. it is a good fight and im glad canelos gettin paypuh. floyd just sounds kinda insecure about what hes been sayin lately shouldnt he be building up canelo for better fight hype?

IMO The Fight is being made because Canelo didn't look too good against Trout. It's better to catch Canelo now than a year or two. Floyd is savvy, he knows how to anticipate danger, make a move and look good. And this fight is a smart move for Money.

GSP is too high on Canelo right now if they think he could beat Floyd at this point. Don't get me wrong Canelo has a punchers chance and will develop to be a superstar but I think they took the bait to early.

Floyd definitely comes across as being jealous of Canelo. Canelo at 22 will be fighting on a PPV that is probably going to be the highest grossing ever. Canelo will be having huge fights for years to come. Floyd was 30 before he got to fight Oscar and become a huge star. Before that Floyd was struggling to sell tickets, unless he was fighting other big names like Gatti and Zab. Canelo is selling out arenas everywhere he goes.
