Comments Thread For: Fury: I Deserve More Money Than 'Has-Been' David Haye

Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs) admits that he wants, and deserves, more money in a financial split with former two division champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs). Discussions to make the fight continue. Haye offered Fury a 50-50 split, but Fury countered with an 80-20 demand. Fury says there is room to negotiate the split, but he refuses to sign off on any deal where Haye receives an equal share or more money than him. If Haye does not agree to Fury's demands by the end of this month, then Fury will move on.

Fucking truth here. Fury acts like he's on top of the sport or something.

Fury should consider himself lucky to get a 50/50 split with Haye.

It was clearly said tongue-in-cheek. Watch the interview. You're all being trolled.

I like Fury as a fighter, he's underrated and is correcting the mistakes he made earlier in his career in his style and fitness.

But he's out of his mind here 80-20? Haye is still the bigger draw should be 50-50 IMO and Haye has fought much better opposition even Ruiz is better than most of Fury's opponents especially with the poor state of the HW division, Kevin Johnson is Furys best win.

Haye has wins over (actually turned out pretty ****) Maccarinelli, Fragomeni, Mormeck, Valuev, Ruiz, Chisora. And fought Wlad, Fury needs to step it up hopefully he fights someone like Pulev in the future although I would like Haye to fight Pulev.

Tyson Fury has ducked Wladimir Klitschko, David Price, and Kubrat Pulev.

And now he's ducking David Haye.

Fury talks a lot, but doesn't follow up on what he says. He calls fighters out, and then refuses to fight them.

If Fury needs another couple of years to develop before taking on a top opponent, that's fine. But he should shut his mouth until that time. He's not fooling anybody now.
