The level of a fighter can only be me measured by the last fight.
    Sorry!!

I think the Morales - Pac 1 was close but part 2 with two KOs is tough on Morales

PAC demolished Morales in such a terrible fashion. He literally dismantled Morales in every facet of the game, from boxing to the slugging aspect.

PAC broke his nose on 4 parts, he gave welts and nasty cuts and black eyes on both face. By the start of round 5 you're seeing Morales haggard and breathing for air.

No doubt PAC destroyed him, Morales needs a lot of time to recover, if ever they meet again, then it will be just more of the same beating. PAC is still peaking and he will become faster, stronger and more technically sound as the time passes by.

I just hope Morales is ok though this was by far the worst beating of his career, Morales should take it slow from here on out either that or retire.

It also marks the end of morales. Hopefully he will never fight again after been Ko`ed by a blown up super bantam weight. I hope Morales retires with his health. As for Pac, all roads point to a Barrera rematch i guess. I just hope Barrera can pull it off!

I just hate how people imply that Pacquiao should rematch Barrera............Pacquiao is the one who totally dominated and destroyed Barrera, thus, imo, people should be implying that Barrera NEEDS to rematch Pacquiao..........Pacquiao is the KING of the two divisions and people should be challenging him.

even though barrera is my favourite fighter, i agree with this post 100%, barrera needs pacman, pacman dont need barrera.

as for morales, i dont think he should retire like some people have suggested. i mean he took a lot of punishment tonight, but if he has a long rest, he can come back. look at barrera as an example, MAB has been written off so many times and he keeps on coming back, nearly everyone wrote barrera off after he got destroyed by pacman but look at him now, hes top of the 130lbs division, got 2 belts, came back and beat morales. i just hope he fights pacman by the end of this year.

Often a rematch, after a close fight, really shows who is the most intelligent fighter, and who learns the most from the first fight to become the better man.. Pac has improved, and regardless of the past, he´s now nr.1
No matter what your name is; If you want that position, you got to get past him now.

Barrera and Pac need each other and here's why.

Morales is done at 130 lbs. It's obvious that making the weight is killing him, he can't do it anymore otherwise you would see a third fight between him and Pac. He's out of the poicture at 130.

Other than a fight with Barrera, what other big money fight is out there for Pac? The only other decent money option is a second fight with Marquez, but if Pac was smart he'd persue the Barrera rematch first, there's more money in it. If he were to win that fight, a rematch with Marquez would be that much bigger.

Barrera's nearing the end of his career, if it's money he's after he'll fight Pac, if it's his health he's looking to protect he'll fight Chavez, which is no walk in the park anyway.
