to bad danny is being called names by those who probably never been in a real fight. wish we all could meet in philly and put in some rounds toghther. in my mid 50's and prolly get my ass kicked but still hit the gym always. my comment is; i don't know what all the fuss is about lucas. after being on the wrong end of a few decisions beating peterson don't make him a star. luc is a decent fighter but lets not get carried away. he ko'd lamont and now he is the so called big time puncher. he just caught him with a nice shot. danny will out think him in my opinion. drop the name calling guys. we are all here because we love the fighters and the game. keep it clean. no hittin below the belt.

I am in total agreement with your post though, ****** is simply scared for his life. And it's a total joke that people are insinuating that Matthysse is refusing to take drug tests. If it were true, there would have been nonstop talk from the Garcia camp.

Business my ass. If Garcia beats Lucas, he'd be huger than ever, and would continue rolling in the dough. Funny how he never had problems fighting Zab, Morales twice, and Zab again.

It has nothing to do with business, and has everything to do with Garcia pissing himself in fear. The thing is, now that everyone knows Garcia is scared, even if he gets forced into this fight, it's over. Lucas has already won, he's in his head. Garcia will be a little tentative and Lucas will crack ****** Garcias head in half.

This is the moment Lucas has been waiting for, his whole life. I wouldn't be surprised if he KILLS Garcia in the ring.

Yea, once you get in a fighter's head you already have an edge. And like I said, the Garcias are used to having it the other way around.

Sometimes I wonder if some of the people here understand boxing at all. I dont care if you're Danny's brother or his old man. There's a reason why Danny himself looked shook and is avoiding this fight as much as he can. He knows he needs a miracle not to get murdered if he fights Matthysse, let alone win that fight.
His going against Matthysse at his best: Power to destroy class A opponent with either hand, even wih poorly landed shots. Boxing skills, good footwork, clever strategy, iron chin and scary cofidence. Danny lacks in all of these, and has reamined "undefeated" thanks to an average resistance, a good left hook, but most of all, careful opponent selection. Even then he has struggled against the likes of Khan and Judah.
I'm not saying Danny cant win, I'm saying he sees it as clearly as most of us do, that its very unlikely that he'll avoid getting KOed.

I stopped reading there because you are 100% right, some postes don't know a damn thing about boxing. FerFal, JFSD26, russian crushin, E.P.T. are examples I would use.
