I was bitterly disappointed recently to see Scott Quigg leave Hatton Promotions to move across to the Matchroom stable.

Scott was one of my first signings and a young man I brought up from the boxing dinner show circuit to world title level.

I think Quigg would beat Frampton and I think he has the potential to do well in the US if he would've accepted that opportunity, which a lot of good boxers never get offered or end up waiting years for.

Kell Brook and George Groves both should've faced better opposition during their time with Hearn, I hope it doesn't end up being like that with Quigg.

Sounds like it was too little too late. Ricky should have done this earlier.

If the US angle was true though, doesn't surprise me Quigg chose the UK route. It's rare UK fighters would get that sort of US exposure though.

He's not avoiding Frampton.

The fight won't happen any time soon, though. Hearn and Warren are trying to run each other out of business.

Glad Quigg left, he was a protected species under Hatton.

It's a shame all this happened really. After Quigg beat Munroe and Frampton beat Martinez they were moving to the world level.

Now they have switched promoters, taken time off and have moved back two steps fighting people levels below.

Fair point Gordon....lots of momentum lost there.

As much as I like Frampton, Quigg is my pick to go furthest. The way he hammered Munroe the second time they met was clinical and excellent.
