Junior middleweight contender Willie Nelson is just days away from his HBO debut against Luciano Cuello. The fight opens up an HBO tripleheader that is headlined by Gennady Golovkin's WBA/IBO middleweight title defense against Matthew Macklin.

The 6'3" Nelson joined us on this week's edition of BoxingScene Radio to talk about the fight and his future plans. He hopes that a win over Cuello will lead him to a fight against one of the big names in the talent laden junior middleweight division.

I think Molina will beat Ishe Smith though, hopefully he don't get Robbed!

But yeah Willie Nelson is a good fighter that has improved since his lost, a fight he was controlling until the knock down(s). He should be mentioned more as a top contender at 154
