You couldn't be more wrong. Pac was a HUGE underdog and everyone was asking Oscar why he was picking on a midget and he was the overwhelming favorite to would wipe the floor with Pac.

Enough people have Broner losing or drawing the fight that there should be an immediate rematch.
I had him edging it out but after watching it 2 more times I see it real close almost a draw.
The only way anyone could have Broner losing is if they score it using the amateur point system.

By professional standards Paulie was ineffective. He didn't land any flush damaging blows to the head. He was walked down by the smaller man and hit with flush shots. He was hurt multiple times but bluffed it well by hot dogging and mocking Broner.

Why did Paulie clap as soon as he heard Broner won? He knew he lost that's why. Props to him for being a good sport about it. No need for rematch. Broner will be stronger physically in his next fight at that weight. Paulie dont want that.

I agree that the public sentiment was that PAC was going to get KILLED by DLH. Good point.

However, we all know Freddie Roach is the master cherry picker. Freddie made sure the fight was at 147. Oscar hadn't been in that division fighting competively in years.

He had even gone as high as 160 to fight Hopkins (a fight I still believe he took a dive in) and Felix Sturm. He had fought Mosley and Mayweather at 154 as well.

147 had seemed like impossibilty for DLH to make. However, he couldn't resist the tempation of potentially beating up the tiny Pac who had made a name for himself in the lighter divisions.

Freddie Roach came out of that fight looking like a genius. He fooled DLH and got the old guy to drain himself to make a weight class he had outgrown. Perfect CHERRY PICK by Roach.

No, actually all reports at the time show that Oscar initially decided on 147 and both agreed to 147. Oscar wanted to be faster and he came in at 145.
