Broner has no business going back to 135 he's too big and just walks through everyone there i wouldn't say hes ready to take on tough opposition at 147 he really needs to be at 140 but I think something is scaring him from going to that division. Something by the name of Matthysse

This would be a good scrap but Gamboa hasnt been looking good to me especially with that one Filipino dude getting drop and tag a lot, gonna have to go with broner even tho I dislike the guy.Comment

When all of you realize that Broners name is being built so that ALL fighters would love to fight him so they can cash in on a great pay day!
Their (management) are going to pick and choose who they want and could care less what fans on a forum want! If he can move from 135 to 145 comfortably for another year or so it just widens their choices!
You see their building a name and the opponents name doesn't mean anything, get it! Mayweather picks an opponent and everyone speculates what that opponent might be able to do!! Its his formular but within its a pretty safe match up! Broners folks have a blue print that was successful so go for it!
What will be interesting is if can get through the opponents that are here now and then see what he's doing when he's 25 and 29 years old!!
You know its what the fans call "prime time"!

If anything this is probably a marketing ploy from our boy fiddy cent trying to attach Gamboa's name to a fighter who is gaining a lot of attention.
IMO Broner needs to be in the 140lb division, which i feel is his natural weight class for the time being. Maybe at 23 he isnt ready for the top dogs in the division but against guys like Khan and an ageing Judah he would be favoured to win while also putting a name on the resume/ adding fans/ making money for him and his promoters. Then later he can move to the bigger names in the division like Peterson and Garcia who are from the east coast so the fights would be very marketable and are good exciting competitive fights. Also many of the fighters in the division are Haymon managed so they shouldnt be difficult to make... Then if he wants a loss and a trip to the hospital they can feed him to Matthysse
