Broner really needs to step up for his next fight

He needs to put his money where his mouth is already. I'll be damned if he doesnt fight atleast a B class fighter for his next fight. Enough of the gimme fights. Paulie Malinaggi is a very good fighter I love him hes from my home town of Brooklyn but hes not an elite fighter.

Broner says he will let the fans pick his next opponent, I dont believe him though I am sure he will go back on his word. Because if the fans vote Matthysee or someone like that whats Broner gonna do. Really fight him? Im not sure he has the balls....

Even is he doesnt fight Matthysee, atleast someone like Maidana or go back to 135 and fight a top guy like Terrence Crawford. He shouldn't fight him though cause honestly I think he gets outboxed.

He needs to step up though. His time of milking it is over. He knows he needs to step up now and fight a guy like Maidana. I even see him beating him potentially if he steps up. Question is will he do it?

Unfortunately, you're probably wrong. He'll probably be able to milk this for a few more fights; between casual, idiot fans that actually like him and hater fans (like myself, though hate might be too strong of a term - disliker fans?) who want to see him fail will continue to follow him for another few mediocre bouts.

I agree he needs to step it up but the guy is entertaining to watch even when he's fighting bums and people he classes! Like what was previously stated, people will still watch him either way!

I still think fighting PDL, at 130, Demarco at 135, & Paulie at WW all in a span of a few fights is far better then people give him credit for. People act like he's just fought no one. Thats not bad for 23 and by all accounts his next fight will be against Maidana or someone like that.

I told people before this fight to calm down and judge him on who he picks and what he does in his next fight. There is no use of ripping him before that because if he does fight Maidana or some other solid guy then his resume is way better than people give him credit for

With all the good options from 135-147, GBP better not pad his record with faded and over-matched opponents. He can fight Vasquez/Abril @135 or Maidana/Guerrero @147. GBP could also fuck up the 140lb tournament and match Broner against Garcia so he can hold three titles simultaneously.

WTF? How can you give him credit for PDL when Ponce was a 122/126 fighter and most people think Broner lost? Come on man... Oh and Ponce and DeMarco was not in a short span either.
