Maravilla said before that he was looking forward for a fight with Miguel Cotto or Julio César Chávez Jr. But since Cotto will be fighting the winner of Ishe Smith and Carlos Molina and he thinks that Cahvez jr, can't make weight anymore. He is starting to evaluate a possible fight against the WBA MW champion.

"I prefer to wait and listen to offers. Golovkin has a fight with Macklin now. He (Golovkin ) wont underrate him (Macklin), but he is there to win because he has lot of power. He is an opponent to study because he is a champ and i want to unify titles and i think he is a good option".

This would be a good fight on ppv..
Sergio is One of my favorite fighters cause he got his name for beating top fighters at mw while he was a jr.mw gotta give respect where its due only champions to do that floyd,pacquiao & of course maravilla. I wouldnt be surprised if he tried to move up again and challenge froch.

What will be interesting is if Martinez takes an easier opponent or fights GGG right away. I think HBO/K2 should put 3G through a gauntlet: Macklin, Murray and the winner of Geale/Barker. Beat all of them and then make GGG/Martinez in April/May 2014.
