"Canelo" doesn't bring the relentless pressure Angulo does, nor the requisite stamina to make it possible. I'd be impressed if he made it past Lara.Comment

Lara handles Angulo far more decisively in a rematch, he'll rehydrate comfortably, change his offense up a bit, land straight lefts to the body and move more laterally, simple adjustment. Angulo can only hope he has the same success. I know I sound like a broken record but I'm so sure of that.
Lara has the tools to beat Canelo, reach, speed, athleticism, pretty good power but he's never utilized those tools for me to actually like his chances. Canelo knows how to apply pressure through a responsible defense, although not quite as aggressive as Angulo, and Canelo is a far better counter puncher, better combination puncher...Lara could find himself in trouble if he moves as predictable as he did against Angulo.
The difference between the way Rigondeaux and Mayweather move is...they duck under punches a lot more and slip into different angles a lot quicker. Lara would get blasted with punches to his guard which would keep him in place, he needs to start getting under punches more. I know Lara can add all that to his arsenal, I think he needs to find a new trainer.Last edited by Doctor_Tenma; 06-25-2013, 04:19 PM.Comment

We all know GBP didn't want Canelo-Trout, it was Canelo who forced them into that, Oscar looked so fuckin' worried as he watched from the stand. They seem more fearful of Lara considering they stacked everything against him, small ring and we're yet to find out who orchestrated the rehydration limit, that's so messed up but I'd advise Lara to swallow his pride much like Donaire did with Arum and keep on racking victories. In the end Canelo will have to answer to him.Comment

Well considering Canelo has only fought one legit 154 fighter in Trout... and was given a gift in that fight! It's not inconceivable to see Lara beating him!Comment
