Both sides have to agree basically. Dannys the draw so he will probably get more money. Theres TV, sponsors, Tickets sales, just to name a few ways to create revenue. And Haymon and Schaefer will do everything it takes to make sure all parties involved walk away from happy. Thats their job. Personally I wouldnt be surprized if both fighters want big money. Making this fight a PPV might be the best way to satisfy all parties involved.

I gave Garcia credit for being willing to fight Lucas but Schaefer said a long time ago the fight was just days from being done. Now I read that Garcia-Judah is being talked about. It sure looks like Garcia is afraid to fight Matthysse so he is demanding an amount of money he knows nobody will give him to fight the rightful challenger. That is the standard way for a champion to avoid a tough challenger while claiming he was willing to fight him but they would not pay him what he was worth. Garcia is probably worth about half that much or less for a Matthysse fight. What is the highest amount he has made so far?
