If i was canelo, i would have rejected the CW,,, They had all the leverage,,,,

who else was floyd gonna fight and do over 1.5 mil with.....

i would have said F you floyd, 154 or nothing we both champs,,,

then floyd would have been forced to fight a alexander or khan or danny and lost showtime another 12 million......

Canelo was the only one floyd could have fought and do monster numbers....

Canelo probably felt this might of been his only chance to face Floyd though. There's no way Floyd would have ever fought Canelo at 154 at any period of time, so Canelo accepted when he was given the opportunity to fight him. Even if Canelo loses, it still won't hurt him in the long run. He's making big money from this fight & he'd have a loss against the #1 Pound For Pound fighter. He has a good 15 years left as a fighter, a loss against Floyd won't hurt him.
