I have no problem with fighters agreeing on a catchweight...it is how a fight between a big and a small man happen.

According to the Floyd fans if u think u're the best then u have to fight ur opponent at his weight even if there's a 20lbs gap... Up until Floyd pulled a quick one now CW is fine.

that said, I really didn't know there was a weight clause as well. floyd's team is worried he may not make it to the 6th fight without losing and they are doing whatevere they can to give him the advantage.

Mayweather dont need Canelo. Canelo is finally getting his own taste of his own medicine. Look at Canelo fight records..all his big time opponents were fighters moving up from ww or light ww taking advantage. Canelo only fought one true ok junior middle weight in Trout all other junior middle weights were nobody's. Canelo can say he didn't want this catch weight but you all know he agreed to it. Canelo was begging for this fight. Better cash in before a true middleweight beats him.

I'm laughing at those saying that Canelo isn't comfortable fighting below 154.

I ask you, when has Mayweather ever weighed 154 for a fight? When's he ever weighed above 151? Is he 100% comfortable fighting at 154? I'm pretty sure he's not.

They both are sacrificing by doing this catch-weight. It's been agreed upon and the contracts have been signed. The set weight is perfectly fine.
