I really wish folks would be quiet about this two pound catchweight. They BOTH agreed to the weight. Did y'all feel bad for Josesito Lopez when Canelo made him come to 154 from 140 or Alfonso Gomez when he came from 140 to 154 to fight Canelo. So please stop being biased because the shoe is on the other foot.

yea its catch weight. Two pounds really going to be a difference? I doubt it..canelo will still come over 20 pounds the limit fight night. 172 or something which he always does. People are making a big deal oh he fought de la hoya and cotto at the natural weight. I don't think de la hoya went as high as canelo does. If he did, he would look like he did against strum with them big all tires on his side. Cotto , I don't think, even come close to what canelo weights fight night.

You wanted the catchweight, you created the excuse.

          basically.
Canelo didn't have to take the catch weight. The kid is 22 years old he'll be more than fine.

Then mayweather should have kept his mouth shut, however he used that as an excuse to criticize mannys win over cotto. He gave us the whole long winded rant how 2 pounds DOES matter. How he wants fighters at their best.

Mayweather is right, all he can do is focus on his career. If he focused on pleasing "fans" at every point he'd be showing signs of tbi "traumatic brain injury." So a smart fighter must weigh fan hysteria against personal health and ultimate reward.

Nothing will please Floyd critics because they aren't interested in being satisfied unless that satisfaction includes acquiring his head.

canelo will come in heavy as hell fight night and try taking floyds head off in the late rounds but floyd will box and move to a easy UD unless canelo gets tired then floyd might bash him up

I agree IMO canelo is too slow he doesn't have the skill set to beat floyd. No ko but a wide boring decision.
