    Is Andre Ward Un-Loyal?

    Is Andre Ward un-loyal?

I don't know the specifics or details but remember Ward started off with Roy Jones Jr promotions?

Then he went to Goosen promotions. Goosen did lot for him probably more for him than any of the other fighters in the stable.

Ward then signs for the super six super middleweight tourney wins the tourney and pretty much F's over Showtime who invested all the money in the tourney to have a new star for their network right? But Ward goes straight to HBO right after that?

It just seems that Ward is not the most loyal man in the sport. I mean he's not exactly a draw or a big name to be cutting ties or leaving people behind right?

No one will ever be loyal to RJJ promotions, he just doesnt have the clout to make anything happen for any one of his fighters.

as for the supersix and moving to hbo, its just business.

i hear you but at the end of the day showtime wasn't coming for hbo's neck the way they are now.

also it's paying off great for ward he's a commentator the second or best fighter in the world. so he deserves to have his own network pushing him besides playing second fiddle to floyd on showtime.

It's all good, man... grammar is tough. But I don't know about disloyal. Ward has a point and with each passing day, his career is getting shorter. Goosen's been promoting for awhile but with fighters starting their own promotional banners and looking to GBP or TR to handle their events, it's almost as if the Goosen-Tutor's, Main Events, and Dibella's get stiffed by being the farm system. The get real talent, but they don't have as much weight in the business/entertainment world, let alone the boxing world.

Ward is loyal look at how long he has stuck with Virgil. Boxing is a business as well as a sport. I doubt he will be fighting for more than another 10 years he's gotta make as much money as he can for his family.
