He sounded silly trying to justify the very thing he used to talk down on. He's CLEARLY ashamed of the catchweight and he should be.
I agreed with everything till that point, Floyd isn't ashamed, he knew all that CW bs he was chatting was his way of trying to discredit Pacquiao and his accomplishments.

I've always said, there is nothing wrong with catchweights, ATGs Armstrong, Pacman, Leonard and so on have used them when moving up in weights, but none of those guys have used them while defending their title at the given weight. Hate Pac all you want but he defended against Clottey **** on 147.

Floyd dug his own grave for not only demanding a fight at cw while he is regarded by the best in that particular division but after years of making fun of fighters getting cws, and saying he only fights "healthy" fighters...as opposed to what? Other guys fighting terminally ill patients? The man is ridiculous and deserves all the hate he's getting now.

"I'll pass it onto Ellerbe" **** you man!

Floyd's a fucking twat, he brought the shame upon himself
that said, he doesn't need the catchweight to win
Alvarez isn't nearly good enough to do a damn thing with him
Floyd had a no frills win lined up here and couldn't help clowning himself
this insecurity thing he has is funny as hell too

anyone else feel like the catchweight was demanded out of spite? it's like saying "i'm going to make your ass work." alvarez has practically done nothing to earn this fight and was already making demands even before the trout fight.

a rehydration clause would've made more sense if floyd was seriously concerned about the weight disadvantage.

Agreed, Canelo is too slow and flat footed to beat Floyd at any weight. Having said that he has legit power, may be that's what scared Floyd, he obsesses about leaving the sport healthy and spent years ducking his top opponent.

I hope Floyd gets asked this question at every city during the press tour. Can see him giving some hilarious answers along the way.

As expected, a horrible excuse that doesn't even make sense.

What a condescending piece of ****. Go Floyd, go pick your cherries. Fortunately for you, there’s enough dumbasses that think you’re the king of boxing. Careful with that cherry picking though, we don’t want you accidentally picking the kind you’ve avoided like a btch your entire career.

If Canelo has trouble at 154 then it's totally his fault/problem. At 152, people will contribute it to the CW BUT I'm sure that Floyd fans are ready to say "but Canelo always had stamina issues" , right?
The stamina issues are a myth. Canelo took his foot off the gas because he was winning against Trout handily.

I dont care about fans. Spend more time worrying about fights and less about a fighters fans.

all of you said there was no problem with cotto at 145. why is it different now? was cotto drained? did the 145 affect his stamina issues?
