Comments Thread For: Mago Ready For War: Offers 80/20 To Haye, Fury, Mitchell

Reading the back and forth on Twitter between David Haye and Tyson Fury about purse splits to face each other, WBC #4 rated heavyweight contender Magomed "Mago" Abdusalamov (18-0, 18 KOs) has an easy deal to offer the #5, 6 and 7 contenders in his division.

"I'll take an 80/20 purse split and I will take the 20% to fight either David Haye, Tyson Fury or Seth Mitchell," says the Russian powerhouse. "In fact, says Abdusalamov, if I lose, I will give them my 20% and I will walk away happy, knowing I don't deserve my ranking in the WBC."

Abdusalamov, a pulverizing puncher who has dispatched all 18 of his professional opponents says he's willing to forego all the negotiating and posturing being done between the fighters and offer his lower-rated counterparts a chance at a lucrative heavyweight showdown. [Click Here To Read More]

The only one that has a chance is Haye because he can punch like a mule kick and is fast and Mago is not hard to hit.

Mago goes thu Mitchell and Fury both in under 3 rounds

I query your description of Haye having a punch like "the kick of a mule''. Of his wins by stoppage, only two...TWO were by KO. They were against fighters with 15-26, and 15-13 records. The rest were by TKO or Rtd.

His win against John Ruiz was by RP...meaning rabbit punches.

I can see you have an agenda which is ok by me because the man's record speaks for its self.

And that right hand shot that put Ruiz down 20 seconds into the fight was no rabbit punch.

OK, you got me with Mitchell. I agree to that.

Fury? Fury dwarfs Mago. He'll jab the life out of him. It's not like Mago has quick feet or excellent upper body movement. He'll struggle to get close to Fury.

Cunningham is no slouch. He has excellent footwork and timing. He made it look easier than it is to land a haymaker on Fury.

So ignorant, but hey, you're the one that has to live with ******.

I guess decking Chisora and Maccaranelli and Harrison (off the top of my head from recent fights) doesn't register with you.

The vast majority of stoppages in boxing are TKOs where a guy is too hurt to continue but was dropped and messed up badly, but managed to scramble to his feet. Also Haye is a cruiserweight who fights at heavyweight. The fact that he has the power to hurt heavyweights is a feat in itself.

Nice move by Mago. I don´t think he could handle Haye´s speed and Fury´s size could be a problem, but Mitchell would get KTFO. Most of all, they will all look like they´re ducking Mago if they wont take the fight. - Yes, Mago vs Wilder would be awesome! I´d love to see that chicken leg windmill take a nap..
