Comments Thread For: Ajose vs. Lundy Will Headline ESPN FNF Card, 7/19

According to Lou DiBella, his fighter Ajose Olusegun will fight "Hammerin' Hank Lundy on July 19 at Rockingham Park in New Hampshire on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights."

"This is an absolutely fantastic card for ESPN," said DiBella. "In the main event, you have two proven contenders, with the winner taking a major step toward challenging for a world championship in the loaded 140-pound division."

Olusegun (31-1, 14 KOs) was originally slated to fight Mercito Gesta, but the latter withdrew with an injury. Olusegun was stopped by Lucas Matthysse in September 2012.

A victim of Matthysse vs a victim who escaped Matthysse.

The guy took clean shots from Matts for 10 rounds... Lundy will have to box from the opening bell, be perfect if he's going to win.

I'm glad that Proksa and Ajose are getting another chance on USA television.
