I know they're friends but from way back? As I understood it Ward was willing to fight Dirrell, it was Dirrell who didn't want to fight.

Ward mentioned Dirrell last year -- but only to help his old buddy get some momentum and come back into the ring... Dirrell remained silent.

I guess he's looking for big fights but unfortunately for him his style is boring for most people so he's a high risk very low reward type of fighter.
