Hi guys i rewatched the pam-man/marquez 24/7 for the 4th fight, ep3, and when juan was on the mitts nacho said someting, like throw the uppercut with the right hook and straight right (but keep your shoulders level especially with the hook) does anyone know why he said about keeping the shoulders level esp with the hook?

is it cause how pacman throws hes left cross so if hes shoulders are level hes hiding hes chin as to if hes left shoulder was a little lower than hes right it would make an opening for the left cross from pacman?

or is it for more power on the hook? or is it both? just wondered if anyone could help? Thanks.

kool, iv been into boxing for years even tho im only 24, help train my brother whos a pro 3-0 so i try learn everything i can from oll the best teachers, george benton, eddie futch, manny steward, nacho, ray arcel, virgil hunter, floyd sr, but nacho and benton are my fav to try listen and learn from.

and i wonder why nacho says that to juan. can only think to keep hes balance and hide hes chin more from pac-mans left cross, so hes out of danger.

Hey welcome bro. The reason is because when u keep ur shoulders level u create less angles defensively while throwing making the window smaller for counters and it puts u in a position to still throw the right much faster and accurately.

ok thanks, so i was on the right path ha, thats what i was saying to my brother you just worded different, nacho mad smart ha, never hear teaches talk about shoulder levels,, and cause of pacs left cross if juan was down with hes left shoulder while throwing the right hook off the left uppercut he'd be in firing line?
