broner is a more of a punkpaulie lost and made an outragous claim that a judge was paid off. paulie is a sore loser and a punk who got his ass beat by a small guy nmoving up 2 weight classes.
paulette only gets fights because he comes to the ring like a clown and has an italian following. otherwise he's a **** fighter.Comment

^^^^^^^Exactly!
+1.....How can anyone on here bash pauly? We all saw the fight, is he lieing? No adrien broner is missing the biggest trait that his idol floyd has and that is discipline - floyd trains everyday to stay sharp and get better. Adrien looked to be alittle tired in there like he was pacing himself so he wouldn't run outta gas - pauly is qualified to speak on this because he always gives guys there just do - and that speaks volumes about character .
^^^This BS......
How is Paulie a sore loser when he acknowledged that he lost? The problem is 117-111, that's the issue - you got it all twisted......paulie lost and made an outragous claim that a judge was paid off. paulie is a sore loser and a punk who got his ass beat by a small guy nmoving up 2 weight classes.
paulette only gets fights because he comes to the ring like a clown and has an italian following. otherwise he's a **** fighter.
^^^^This dumb shyte. The fight is done - why would Broner keep up the douchery then? Paulie congratulated the "man" & he still has to be a douche.Broner is a punk, and so is Paulie Mags. Play the tape back... all that ****** pre fight trash talk between those fools over girl names and their girlfriends, then turning it into a slobfest of vulgarities, and sloppy girlfriend seconds, that the media listened to. That has nothing to do with Boxing. So the only thing Mags can hang his hat on is he lost decisions to Cotto, Khan and Broner, and still hasnt' beaten anyone. Broner is a classless punk in every sense of the word. So Paulie has all these sour g****s post fight, he did nothing in the ring he promised. Broner doesn't have 147 power. Neither one of these guys are good for Boxing, so lets stop talking and reporting anything about these guys. I'm tired of hearing these idiots talk all this trash, what they are going to do to their opponent, then make it personal, and condescending, as well as vulgar, then underperform. Mags you're an idiot, just like Vinnie Pazienza was.
Exactly!
My thoughts as well - Broner did say he was going to fcuk him up - and that didn't happen.......New York judge scores it against a New York fighter in NY by the widest margin of all three judges, that's not exactly a usual occurrence in boxing.
As to Broner being a small guy moving up, I didn't see a great deal of difference in their size. If Malignaggi is such a **** fighter how come Broner didn't stop him?
Broner's a degenerate......Malignaggi wouldn't have said ish until Broner took a cheapshot in his interview, he didn't have it in him to be respectful. After that why should Malignaggi hold back?
If you don't like what Paulie's saying then blame Broner, he was the one who broke the unwritten fighter's code of showing respect post-fight. Even FMJ wouldn't have gone down that road.
So, does that mean it should not be spoken about then?
Fixed it for you.......Watch the post-fight, Malignaggi gives Broner respect and accepts the decision. Then Broner takes a cheapshot and PM goes off on him and the judges.
Broner just made it worse for himself because now in addition to underperforming a lot of people know he is (a) a POS and (b) benefactor of a corrupt decision.
C'mon man - of course they're going to talk shyte during the fight - it's going down! But after the fight you can see by the body language & expressions that Paulie was being congratulatory & genuine and Broner had that expression of "in one ear & out the other". Broner was going to do what he did whether Paulie congratulated him or not.How can you say what pualie said or what his intentions were. You have no idea. all i know is they talked**** to each other the whole fight.
Broner answered Jim Gray's question, same way paulie did when everyone got mad when Jim asked paulie about "biting the hand that feeds you". did broner have to answer that way-no. was talking about taking his girl classless-yes.
but be honest-this is the same rant paulie went on after the diaz fight and diaz said nothing of the sort. Or was that diaz fault?
the people who think he lost are just fishing for something to whine about. he clearly and fairly beat paulie.
But we all know what Broner's intentions were - to be a dcik. Regarding the smoke & mirrors: whether it was Diaz's fault or not, Paulie was robbed that night and had every right to speak about it.Again, you have no idea what paulie's intentions were. its not about arguing otherwise-its about you assumptions.
I noticed you ignored the part about Diaz. You blamed paulie's reaction on what broner said-I simply reminded you paulie has done this before and he wasn't prompted by disrespect-it was prompted by losing.
I can completely understand paulie crticizing broner and not giving him props after broner saying he took his girl. He claimed the NY judge was in al haymon's pocket, which has NOTHING to do with what broner said about taking his girl.
Paulie acknowledged he lost, but 117-111 ? I have a problem with that and he should too.
Exactly - Broner was not going away in the fight.....To me a clear win is basically domination. Broner didn't dominate Paulie. That fight was a lot closer than it should've been. No one can really argue with it being a Split Decision for example. That right there screams it was not some CLEAR win. A win, yes... But not a coasting win.
That's why everyone wanted to fight Paulie - literally the "weakest link"....
Paulie acknowledged that he wasn't on his game that night, but Cano ain't said a word about it either.....I don't hate on Paulie but lets be honest he wasn't in the ring complaining about bettering boxing and gift decisions when he got one against Cano. I thought Cano won that fight and Adrien won the fight saturday. Paulie wants to play the martyr all the sudden and do whats best for boxing but if you really cared about boxing you'd complain about all wrong decisions not just one that doesn't favor you
That's what's wrong with boxing - people are just supposed just chalk it up to the game & shut up. Hell NO!
Close fight it was......
It is definitely censorship. And yes, after it's all said & done - it's done. Why stoke the fires more?Maybe thats discretion to you...but its censorship to many. Paulie's outrage was a combo of Bronner's lack of sportsmanship and the wide margin of the last judge. A margin like this is arrogant, it shows influence because it is so out of line. Boxing fans accept this crap and nobody says a thing and thats wrong.
Bronner is a classless idiot and that is embarrasing as well. I actually liked the way the guys promoted the fight...you promote hard, fight hard kiss and make up haha. Mayorga who talks great trash always apologizes after the fight. What Bronner did was to violate that relationship and he did this because he was upset...why? because essentially he was hit a lot, could not chase Paulie down and hurt him.
The fact of the matter is that Bronner has been exposed. The first decent puncher he faces with a little mobility will destroy him. A case could be made that Paulie beat him. Why do people assume Bronner's punches were harder? I mean Paulie did not look shook by anything Bronner threw.
I'm surprised that this is coming from you....Comment

That's one of the points......
Boxing is corrupt - B-Hop had the same stance, but now since he's become part of the corruption, has gone silent on this, SMDH......I didn't like Paulie's accusation about one of the judges being on Haymon's payroll. There was no validity to that claim although I agree the 117-111 was off. It was just unprofessional of him saying that without any sort of evidence.
However, I agree that Broner didn't impress anyone in that fight - neither with his boxing and his sportsmanship.
He was accurate (most of the time) but he fought flat-footed, stood right in front of Malignaggi, was lazy at times and got hit more than necessary. I still think he has great potential but his defense/offense flow was way off in this fight. I think Paulie's movement and activity made it difficult for him. I certainly didn't expect that. It seemed he lost his "cool" too in heated situations
I personally don't like Broner's persona. I don't care if it's an act or not or a marketing scheme although I think it's the real him. He got the role of being the "villain" completely ass backwards. He has no charisma and he thinks he's funny. That "pops, comb my hair" role-play was, and still is, so ****ing corny and played-out.
Truth is, that to the public he is displaying himself as real prick and he is also displaying a heavy lack of intelligence.
The boy needs to change his attitude.
^^^This WEAK BS - Nuff said.......Boxing always has some type of corrupt decision. Paulie butt hurt from a side piece. Yet he claims she just a nobody... Well she obviously is something to him if he can't just let it go. It's not disrespectful that he talk the talk, then walk the walk. Somebody claims he a professional, yet he calls out a judge, say's somebodys in someones pocket and says negative things about boxing these days. Paulie has 7 KO to his 36 fights. WEAK! Nuff said!
And that shouldn't prevent him from having a job - if you're wrong, you should be called on it......
"Are you sure you want to go down that road?" WTF?!
It shouldn't.....I think he was upset because he disrespected him in front of his home crowd, it was off. Broner didn't want to shake PM's hand at the end of the fight, didn't want to show any kind of respect. I think Broner was upset at his own performance.
PM did apologise for calling out the judge in the post-fight press conference, it could cost him a lot of money.
Stay on topic - Trout had nothing to say about it so it's moot......
Steve Farhood needs to go back to covering wrestling......
That's the point. Say things went a little bit different - all you need is 1 judge......Comment

My problem is paulie was *****ing about politics before the fight. maybe he was going to pay respect. but broner saying I took your girl has nothing to do with paulie whining that al haymon had a judge in his pocket.Comment

Forget the "unwritten code." Personally, I never watch postfight interviews and care very lil about prefight hype. But this one got personal and they don't like each other. Broner isn't obligated to have a change of heart just because the boxing match is over.Malignaggi wouldn't have said ish until Broner took a cheapshot in his interview, he didn't have it in him to be respectful. After that why should Malignaggi hold back?
If you don't like what Paulie's saying then blame Broner, he was the one who broke the unwritten fighter's code of showing respect post-fight. Even FMJ wouldn't have gone down that road.Comment

It's probably because of how GBP let Paulie fend for himself in Russia for the Senchenko fight. That & how they wanted to do him dirty with Shane. I'd be a bit pissed off, wouldn't you?Comment
-
Well I did not thing Broner would stop Paulie because he fough harder hitter than him and did not get KO, But Broner got 135, 140 power, like to see him at 140 were there are a lots of good fight for him, and it might be some 147 fight that he can KO.Comment

Broner goes...Defense..........Offense.........Defense... .......Offense. He doesn't actually mix them together. He needs to work on that and work on it soon.Comment
