This is especially the case with the press who spend weeks in the build-up to the fight giving predictions of Broner dominance and when it doesn't eventuate they still pretend it does.

For balance I had it 3-3 after six rounds but two of the Broner rounds were close so could easily have had it 5-1 to PM by the halfway point. No issue with Broner winning but he wasn't comfortable in there and his frustration showed with his resorting to dirty tactics.
the problem is posters that switch the way they score a fight. when floyd or roy was doing what paulie was doing posters say the other guy won the round because he landed harder blows. then in this fight, now paulie's punches , even though they lack power, are counted and the rounds are close.

you cant pick and choose how to score a fight based on who the fighters are and what your allegiance is to them.

These numbers are a joke, broner landed nowhere near 50%, Stevie wonder could have told you that. Paulie landed more punches, he was throwing combos all night. But of course body punches don't count in boxing

Are they even counting Malignaggi body punches? I saw Paulie hitting Broner a lot to the body and I don't think they're counting all of those.

which is why i felt malignaggi won the fight. i still haven't watched the replay but all i remember broner doing is talking for like 5 rounds straight and missing most of his punches.
Broner is like Gesta. He's always more concerned about how he looks in the ring than actually studying his opponent. Always self conscious about looking cute in there.

I agree with you, & Paluie was the perfect opponent to do that with, like when Palie said that Broner was worried & ask Paulie for advice when he fought Ponce Paulie said "broner was worried & said havent fought ten rounds before how should I do this" seems like Broner had his mind set to go the full 10rds. I feel sometimes a fighter wins but tries to look a bit bad to give food to the haters to brag & keep watching, but that's just my 2 cents. If Broner would of ko Paulie we wldn't have like 30 threads on Broner, more like 5 saying he fought a old Paulie & this & that, but look at the interests to see Broner fight again it is crazy.

On phone sorry for the way I typed & mispell word's

Paulie didn't do a damn thing but throw flurries in the air. Broner stood right there infront of him and he couldn't even land a decent punch.

They must've been clicking away and counting all those shots Broner landed while pushing Paulie's head down and punching him in the kidneys. Double the clicks for the around the head double bolo punches to Paulie while he had him in a head lock, and triple clicks for the shin to the balls.

i honestly dont think ANYONE gave paulie credit for the great bodywork he landed on broner.

broner landed the more meaningful shots, no doubt, but honestly he didnt land enough to take the title.... SD was appropriate, either way, but i feel for paulie... dude WORKED for 12 rounds.

if all pillow puncher paulie hit was air, what was broner waiting on? still telling me paulie's volume and body punching weren't effective?

broner was the challenger and he barely fought to take the title. he landed some eye catching, "effective", punches but malignaggi was still there trading with him and still outworking him by the 12th round.

these numbers don't reflect the fight at all.
