It's funny how many tryhard muppets are buying into Broner's little Floyd-wannabe-you-can't-hit-me head shakes. Watch any of the slow-mo replays (particularly the one after round 2) and you'll see Paulie got plenty of shots in - to the body, between Broner's high guard, glancing off the top of his head. Maybe not that clean or effective, but Matthysse doesn't need to land cleanly to rock you.

I'd like a poll on which fight people find more intriguing, me personally Broner-Matthysse > Garcia-Matthysse, although I'd LOVE both.

I like both fights about the same with an edge to the Matthysse-Garcia fight because Matthysse is a 140 pounder. A fight with Broner would make Matthysse a welterweight champ but 140 is a better weight for him and beating Garcia is a better win. I think Matthysse KOs either one of them but you never know until they fight.

Matthysse is tailor made for Broner. Broner might be a little over hyped but he can still fight. The fight was close because Broner allowed it to be. He fought down to Paulie computition. But he still did anything he wanted in the ring. Paulie landed alot of punches on his arms. Its going to take a great fighter to knock Broner off. Hes not loosing to some bum.

I'm not as certain as others are that Matthysse beats Broner like you guys say, I hadn't seen much of him before but watched a few of his fights today.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is an absolute beast, you don't have a knockout ratio or a record like his without being legit, and I do think the only thing that stopped Paulie winning is his lack of power and I agree that Matthysse has more than enough power to trouble Broner.

However, I'm not sure if his movement is good enough, one of the reasons Paulie had so much success was because of his movement and from what I've seen I think Matthysse stands in front of people a lot and is there to be caught, and someone as accurate as Broner (say what you want about him, but he is highly accurate) might managed to pot shot him a lot.

That said, when you hit as hard as Lucas then anything can happen at any minute and if Broner was to get caught by as many silly shots from him as he did from PDL, Rees and Paulie then he could be in some big trouble, your not walking through Lucas Matthysse that's for sure.

Personally, for the ones that want to see him lose that are pushing him to fight Matthysse, I think the likes of Bradley or Alexander are better choices, they have enough pop to trouble Broner and also the hand speed, movement, boxing ability, etc. to trouble him all night. I think Khan could beat him, the only thing holding him back is his chin.

When you see a guys fights all at once you MISS ALOT. Just imagine if the reverse was true. If you had seen all of Matthysse's fights and hadn't seen much of Broner and saw his fights all at once. So far Adrien Broner's crown ***el performance is marginally outperforming Pablo Cano against Malignaggi. Paulie >>> Demarco. Anyone making that arguement would just make me giggle
