Sugar Adam Ali Report......

1. Sakio Bika is a tough dude, and so was Periban.. Both are sloppy, and wont beat elite competition, but were fun to watch last night... Glad Bika finally got a world belt even if its just a paper championship....

2. Seth Mitchell really grew up and matured in the latter stages of the fight.. Banks looked good thru 5 rounds but then totally gave away the fight with inactivity.. Mitchells chin is horrible,, He will get iced by anybody willing to trade, but he impressed me with his poise last night and actually boxed decent towards the end... Good win for mitchell but def not a Blue chip prospect... If he were to fight Fury, Stiverne or any contender he gets ko'd..

3. Broner is overrated... Pauli came to win, boxed his ass off, even when Broner started landed his bombs, pauli never backed down... I do think the correct guy won... I had it 116-112 for broner,, i can see 115-113 broner or a draw... No way was it 117-111.. that scorecard is horrible...

4. Broner's entrance was horrible but also entertaining,, He needs to get a new rapper, french montana rap about as well as hannah montana.

5. Top guys like Cotto, Hatton, and Khan all beat up a prime pauli,, Broner barely got past a faded Pauli.. Broner is slightly overrated especially at welter where his power was no where to be seen... He landed flush repeatedly and couldnt hurt or drop Pauli... Bad sign if he plans on fighting the top dogs at welter..

6. I would favor guys like Alexander and Khan over broner right now... Both guys have good movement and handspeed, and both have some pop in their punches... Broner needs to move back down....

7. Broner has no defense, anybody that stays busy like rees and pauli have been able to tag him, they just dont have the power to hurt broner,,, top welters like ortiz, guerrero, maidana, even josito lopez would do some damage to broner..

8. Broner was pretty classless after the fight....
9. Pauli must have really liked that girl, he flipped out when broner talked about her after the fight,,,

10.Jim Gray is the best.... And Broner is nowhere near Floyd's level....

Edit: Did anyone else notice broner saying he knows he hasnt made it yet because his momma still lives in the hood... Yet he Flushes money down the toilet..... What a contradiction...Just shows broner more about looking like a baller, than actually being smart with money,,,

Jim gray can be a ****head,, but he asks the tought questions and doesnt back down, and makes guys answer......

paulie hit him with nothing of substance. i dont get what ppl think defense is. paulie was more busy, no doubt. but he wasnt effective in his aggression at all. saying broner has no defense is silly. he blocks puches with his guard and his arms. margarito and rios have no defense. they block punches with their face. see the difference??? probably not...

Broner defense is lacking,,, I understand your point about pauli, but pauli has zero power,, A guy like garcia or lucas, maidana etc will really test his defense and chin...

Anybody that has engaged broner has been able to land,, they have all just been no power guys..
Broner may try to duplicate floyd's defense but he fails,, looks more like berto defense than floyd's
I have yet to see broner shut down a guy defensively, hell even slow plodding ponce de leon was able to hit him...

Not impressed with broner's defense, and he doesnt use his legs very much for a 23 year old
