Maidana calls out Broner on twitter

I feel it's like the other way round, Broner is tailor made for Maidana.
People took the Alexander fight as a measure but Broner doesn't have his footwork and doesn't hold twelve times per round like Alexander does. He comes to trade and that suits perfectly to Chino.Comment

Broner is a ****er masquerading as a slickster imo, that's why I want to see him against a ****er. Maidana is being looked at like he's chump change. Broner's aggression and arrogance will provide Chino with opportunities, and it's not like Broner is completely proven in every area. What Maidana doesn't have in hand-speed, he makes up for it with power and determination. Broner can't afford to play around with Chino like he did with Rees/Malignaggi.Comment

I think Maidana is a character-builder, similar to what Angulo was for Lara. If you don't gain their respect, they will fold you up. Maidana has a bullseye on his midsection, but he's shown that he can absorb shots that end fights for others. Hurting him is one thing, putting him away is another. He's also shown a willingness to incorporate his jab, and take a step back to reset his position instead of coming forward non-stop. Maidana can be quite effective with his limitations, which is why I don't count him out.Comment
