Hayman is trying to rob showtime.
Just to reply to this again, I really don't see Matthysse being the one holding out for $2m. $1m would probably be his biggest payday and the lesser star is usually happy to take less. It's almost certainly Haymon acting on his behalf. It better not kill the fight, Matthysse only signed with Haymon to get the Garcia fight done.

4 million is a lot for these two. Judah and Garcia didn't even split 1.5 million

I've been saying for a while now, Its Garcia asking for more money than he deserves. He has let all the hype get to his head and he thinks he's worth than what he is. He knows he needs to be financially set after Lucas destroys him cause everyone will realize he was a fraud.

Matthysse is a machine, but he doesn't deserve that kind of money. The Pederson fight only sold like 4k tix in AC.

No way either deserve that kind of money. I don't think DG's clothes cost THAT much. They both should be willing to take way less to fight.

I really doubt Matthysse is asking for 2M. What's his biggest payday? He hasn't even made 500k in a fight if I'm not mistaken.

This isn't a $4 million fight. None of these guys are big ticket sellers to begin with. Someone must be out-pricing themselves. I won't name names.

Haha I actually laughed at this, but 4m is ridiculous.

Matthysse: "I wanna fight Danny, I wanna fight Danny". Has been saying it for years now.
Danny Garcia: "emm... we havent signed notihng yet...emmm... lots of names in my hat... eeemm.... nothing signed yet...."
Matthysse is confident enough in his ability to destroy Danny and doesnt see this fight as his last big payday, rather the complete opposite.
