Regardless of how you scored the fight Broner did not get the KO he promised. If he was half the fighter he and his most loyal fans said he was he would have won by KO or TKO. Khan got Paulie out of there and won every round. Broner is just a good fighter. He is nothing special. He is not the future of boxing. He is not Mayweather's replacement.

Paulie sort of has a biggish fan base for the low level fighter he is, and Broner is well hated. The combination of the two brings out the worst in boxing fans, when they try claim one fighter won just because they don't like the other guy. **** like that is really damaging to the sport. These people aren't true boxing fans.

When the Vegas odds r 11-1 all close rounds go to the house now as far as the scoring I Di.t actually have a card and tally round for round but I thought paulie outworked him now he don't have any power @ all but he was touching him all night I know when u actually watch it and score round by round it could actually change things but I don't think broner did enough to get the victory kind of reminds me of Pac vs Bradley

Its even worse than that. I understand failing to deliver the promised KO, not much of a surprise given that Broner is a big mouthed, average fighter.

Even worse, he failed to impose himself with any autohrity against Paulie. Lets say for a minute Broner won (he wouldnt have won if the referee had deducted the points he shoudl have taken away) but still, its still a faaarr fetched SD. That's light years away from KO before round 6, thats light years away form winning with any kind of autority.

I think that people saying Broner should fight Matthysse next either know **** about boxing or hate Broner so much they want to see that boy hurt bad.

Broner won but he got exposed. Look at what Cotto did to a young, fast malinaggi. Brother got exposed as a good fighter but there are many good fighters. He needs to stay away from Floyd, canelo, etc.

And then Paulie says as always that he got robbbed in the postfight interview (I almost fall off the stool when he says that), then I come on boxingscene and see the poll which says most people felt Paulie won this fight. And this is where it gets totally unreal.
                Here is my scorecard:

How can ANYONE say with a straight face that Malignaggi won this fight?? I was the first one to say Malignaggi got robbed against Juan Diaz in their first fight. But this time? Are you kidding me? Broner was landing all the clean, hard shots from the 4th round on and outclassed Malignaggi.
And this is coming from a guy who likes Paulie and hates Broner. Do you guys know how I would have liked it if Broner would have lost the fight or even get knocked out? I HATE Broner.

And still: Broner totally CLEARLY won this fight. Nothing close AT ALL after the 4th round.
Why do you guys see what you see? Is it the fact that Paulie showboats while Broner lands clean, hard shots all night long?? This is just SHOWBOATING. He is still losing big and he knows it.
I did exactly the same... knew the result but watched the fight this morning

Broner clearly won this fight.. Paulie was busy but ineffective - either not landing (except for forearm and elbow) and not able to control the fight in any possible way

Broner looked very comfortable and was able to land crisp clean shots in every round.... towards the end PAulie looked quite ragged but credit due for being game and never looking like he was gonna quit but he knew after the first 3 or 4 rounds that he not gonna win this fight

However everyones hatred of Broner will cloud everyone....they will talk up Paulies pit pat activity and act like that's enough to win a fight

I was rooting for Paulie and even won money off the split decision victory (got 18/1 odds) but I have to be real and call it like it was - Broner won that fight pretty easily

Paulie deserves credit for not letting Broner come to Brooklyn and punk him out in his hometown - but it was a clear W for AB

Need to see that boy in with a puncher now...

You've been proven an idiot before, so i'm not going to respond to this ^.

                      Compubox Numbers

Paulie threw 843 TOTAL PUNCHES and LANDED 214 (25%)
Broner threw 524 TOTAL PUNCHES and LANDED 246 (47%)

As you can see, Broner threw over 300 less punches but landed 32 more punches than Paulie.
