Through rose tinted glasses Broner may of win this fight...
Its clear as day Malignaggi got robbed in this fight, Broner spent more time **** talking than he did actually fighting!
Paulie is the champion and he was the one who had to fight like the challenger due to usual Showtime bull**** of protecting their highest asset/prospect, this should of been a career high and Malignaggi's best win to date but boxing and Showtime robbed him of that and you're going to stand there and say Broner "edged it"...
Broner was exposed last night.
I have never considered Broner the next Floyd Mayweather or as good as the hype he receives. In fact, I regularly post that he should not be undefeated right now because of the Ponce fight. Regardless, I don't wear rose tinted glasses when I watch boxing. I was rooting for Paulie Saturday night because of the lack of respect he receives from fans because he simply lacks power. How far he has gone in boxing WITH that lack of power is a testament to how good of a boxer he is.
That said, I believe Broner beat him Saturday night in a close fight. Broner landed the cleaner harder shots consistently throughout the fight, and not only that but he landed a lot more power shots than Paulie. On top of that, he stalked Paulie the entire fight and dictated the pace. Paulie boxed well as he usually does, and his jab was excellent, as it usually is, but at the end of the night I feel Hairbrush edged a close fight.
