I only caught the second half of the fight but a number of the rounds I did see Paulie was outworking Broner. Obviously the power shots were from Broner but I was far from impressed with his output of punches, and he still failed to stop Paulie which Hatton and Khan both managed. I wonder whether he has stamina issues in 12 round fights (or is concerned he will) if he throws more. The weakest champion between 140 and 147 just gave him fits, he's more like the second coming of Andre Berto than Floyd Mayweather. Al Haymon can only protect this kid so long...

ONE reason I love a puncher that has that one punch KO power is that he can stop all the corrupt Judges from being relevant.

YOU got to TAKE the belt away from da champ in da RING,,,Boner didn't do that.

        Just like

Bradley didn't do that with RUSLAN

My thang is gonna be :

In a close fight come Sept 14th who will the judges favor ??????????

We that know a spit about boxing knows its going to the money man so Canelo is gonna have to KO JR.

        example:

Ruslan had Timmy on Death Row and still lost. You can start with the first two rounds if you need to, should have been 10/8 on both. Late in the fight when Ruslan nailed him with a left hook and he sat on the bottom rope, should have been a knock down, rope held him up, then getting nailed and falling back back on the ropes should have been a 10/8

IF Jr , or Boner has someone in that condition will they be rewarded ?

Paulie is a soft puncher but he put the shots in especially on the body.

The only way Broner won is if body shots no longer score in the sport.

All of you that truly believe that paulie won are delusional. Every time broner countered paulie's head rocked back. Paulie could of throw 2000 punches in the fight but they were all in effective. And a majority of those body shots were being blocked by broner. Broner should of let his hands go more, he would of probably ko'ed paulie....but broner did go up 2 weight classes so his power may take a fight or two to transcend to the welterweight division...

broner clearly won 7 or 8 rounds landing harder cleaner shots. paulie should be thankful he got a SD making it seem closer than it was

Not saying that Paulie won the fight, but to say that this wasn't a close fight is just plain nuts.

I agree with Paulie... Smh... The fight was close & Broner didn't even fight like a challenger it was Paulie that was fighting as if he was the challenger & bringing the fight to him. Yeah his punches may have not been as hard as Broner, but his work rate was higher trowing & landing more & more importantly, Paulie was the champ so the nod shluld have gone to him in a SD. Broner is garbage.
