You also have to look at the flip side of the coin, Paulie is feather fisted and Maidana hits like a mule.

I know Malignaggi has a good chin, but Broner also looked a lot less powerful at 147.

I predicted that Broner would win a decision, but I honestly thought he'd look a lot more imposing while accomplishing it.

If you are truly an elite fighter you have an easy time with Pauli. The guys like Cotto, Hatton, and Khan (who has elite talent) just savaged Pauli. Broner had no real power at 47 and had real issues with Pauli all night. I thought Broner won, but he looked really bad doing it. Broner was elite at 30 and 35, but nowhere near that at 47 right now.

Of course Paulie wouldn't stand right in front of him, cuz it's simply not his style. Maidana is going to stand right in front of Broner. However, we've seen enough to know that there's more to boxing than "styles makes fights". Yes, Maidana has shown vulnerability to body shots, but he's also been put in situations where his heart/toughness has been tested. Broner hasn't had to prove his toughness yet, and it's possible that Chino pulls his hoe card.
