Mitchell/Banks Glove Size?

Why are Mitchell's gloves larger than Banks? It's not just a color thing, they're larger. Does a fighter have the option to wear larger gloves if he wants to?

Gloves can have different kind of padding, more compact etc. Gloves are sorted by weight not size.
