    Why does Broner always pick light hitting opponents?

    Whats your thoughts for this reason?

      He might be hiding glass...especially after he got laid out in sparring.

      Or his handlers don't feel confident knowing he got schooled by Ponce and Quintero and was getting tagged at will by 5'2" Rees

            Demarco had some pop. Ponce as well. He will step it up after this fight for sure. Maidana is most likely next.

                  because Broner already has 2 unofficial L's on his record (Quintero and Ponce) so his handlers aren't about to put him in with any heavy hitters until he matures a little bit.

                    He picked the lightest hitting welterweight. If he wins and then fights Maidana as Schaefer suggested or fights Thurman or another welterweight puncher then he is not dodging punchers. If he fights another light hitting welterweight then it will look like he is avoiding punchers. I'll wait and see who he fights next.
