Win/ Lose or Draw he wins!! At his age this is the BEST learning experience he can have! Theres only so much talk and training that could be done in a gym. You need to go out and fight the best avalible man and see exactly where your at in the sport!!!
His corner needs to be sharp and on top of the situation!!! If the kid could hold his emotions and simply out work Floyd without going over board he'll do fine. If he has something in his tank by round 9 he might have a shot!
Lets see, its a good match up for both guys! Ray.

I don't look at age, I look at professional experience and Canelo has over 40 pro fights and proved he belongs by defeating Austin Trout.

Excellent post. He makes over 10 mil, gets invaluable exsposure and experience, and the worst that happens is he gets a loss on his record to the greatest fighter in the world.

How is there any downside for canelo taking this fight now-unless floyd morphs into duran and canelo into davey moore.

A couple years from now Floyd will be like 40 yrs old for real.
There is no glory in beating a grandpa version of Mayweather.
He's on the decline already so Canelo has to beat him now to claim the throne.

Canelo is coming off of his best win and he's still able to fight at JMW. In a year or two, he will be a MW most likely. It's a win-win situation for Canelo.
The 9 Million Dollars, makes sense to anyone with a Smarts too!!!

Are U suggesting that FRAUD can Punish like Duran could?
When told Moore only had 13 fights. Roberto Said. "Bring It"!!!
