Unbeaten 130 lb. contender Rances Barthelemy takes on divisional trialhorse Fahsai Sakkreerin in the ESPN2 Friday Night Fights televised main event. The winner becomes the mandatory challeger to talented titlist Argenis Mendez.
The bout airs live from the Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Barthelemy (18-0, 11KO) has seen his past four bouts go to the scorecards, including a controversial points win over Arash Usmanee this past January in the ESPN2 Friday Night Fights season premiere.
Sakkreerin (39-3-1, 21KO) leaves Thailand for just the second time in his career. His lone trip outside of his home country was also a title eliminator, coming up short against Martin Honorio in their Dec. '11 clash in the Philippines.
Currently up is a middleweight crossroads bout between local favorite Caleb Truax (21-1-1, 12KO) and fringe contender Don 'Da Bomb' George (24-3-2, 21KO). [Click Here To Read More]
