Rumor: Garcia/Duran set for October

Danny Garcia will face former welterweight champion, Roberto Duran, in October.

Many question Garcia's decision to face the 62 year old duran, believing that Duran is way past his prime.

In response, Danny Garcia had this to say:

"Duran is in much better shape than most people realize, at this point. He's been drinking a lot of Ensure and taking regular doses of metamucil and has actually significantly cut back on beta blockers. I doubt Lucas Matthyse could even last 5 rounds with him at this stage."

Duran was also contacted, and had only this to say:

People already have their mind made up. They didn't need to watch the video. Garcia just put out a video a couple days saying his team is already negotiating with Lucas and nobody says anything. Now they stick a camera in front of this bum Judah, who doesn't really say anything of note, and all of a sudden its Judah vs Garcia two. People just like to talk **** for sake of talking ****. Im convinced of that.
