I don't know how they can even think about charging these prices

There were giving away tickets for free for the Guerrerro fight and there were still over 1000 empty seats

Do you think Canelo will be as drained as Cotto Oscar and Margo vs Manny ?

I will be purchasing the $1500 tickets; but as far as that empty seats statement it was barealy 150 seats left and those was the $1500 & $1250 seats left.

The fight before manny cotto was 146, manny made him lose another 1 pd

Oscar chose the weight when he fought manny

Margs was a career 147 fighter, and fought manny at 150...

cotto is the only one that can be said to be drained,, but he looked good for a few rounds till manny caught him with fast bombs he didnt see..

Your right, I got the numbers slightly mixed up.

They gave 1,459 away for free and 139 went unsold. That means they basically gave away 1,598 tickets on the biggest weekend in boxing.

The May 4 pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero sold a total of 14,258 tickets and pulled in a gate of $9,922,350, according to the Nevada Athletic Commission, which released these numbers Friday, confirming the revenue figure announced on fight night by Golden Boy Promotions. That gate figure is an average of nearly $696 per ticket sold. Tickets’ face values were $1,500, $1,250, $800, $600, $300 and $200.

The Casinos Comp their Big Players, but Wynn Las Vegas is complaining that MGM is Hogging and not giving them a decent number. All FRAUDS Fights have over a thousand empty seats. Check back issues of LVRJ, to verify!!!
