That's cause it's been tough for him to get a real contender in the ring with him. The only reason he's having more luck now is exactly that hype and HBO buying into it. So he's no longer all risk, no reward. But it took a big shakeup at HBO for that to happen, he would have gone nowhere under Greenburg

Sometimes you rank guys higher based on skills/talent and u take into consideration if guys are ducking or not. Rigondeaux for example was #1 only below Donaire after beating guys like Rico Ramos. Skill/talent, amateur background etc was obviously taken into consideration so i have no.problem ranking ggg 2 if he dominates Macklin.

From a technical view you could see the potential but you see flaws in his game. He gets hit a lot at times where he shouldn't get hit. He's also not too fast with his hands. With that being said he's being treated as an established champion like Ward, but he's fought C level opposition. To be honest he's not that far from being put on the Pirog level. Pirog's win vs. Jacobs is more impressive than Golovkin's win over Proksa...

Pirog is a non factor at this point, you can't even rank him since he's been out for 1yr+. Remember his last scheduled date was against GGG in upstate NY last summer, then he pulled out with injury.

LOL. And quillins gas fought nothing but bums all over America. All you did was compare European bums to American bums, so what's your point? Both guys have **** resumes thus far and a potential Macklin win is better then any single win or fight either guy has. Winky wright? You kidding me? Should we give Alexander Povetkin credit for beating Hasim Rahman too then?

GGG KOd a guy who has never been stopped in his pro career, and he fought James Kirkland, Paul Williams and Dmitry Pirog. In the 3rd round; ice cold... You can even say that that sits Better on a "résumé" then Quillin beating wonky wright... Lol
