Matthysse can't outbox Broner on the outside... and after seeing AB dismantle Demarco on the inside, I doubt there are fighters that can fight him on the inside without getting severely punished. Lucas is a tough, strong fighter, but those counter shots that he'll have to take for trying to fight his fight can and will strip the layers of toughness away from him.

Broner is going to face the winner of Garcia-Matthysse soon enough; he is going to put the rest the doubt.

Who wins, DeMarco vs Soto?

Tossup...

Soto is clever enough to win using his footwork and boxing ability to win a majority of the rounds, but DeMarco's length and strength can translate to effective aggression and edge him out on the scorecards too.

If pressed, I'd have to take DeMarco based on DeMarco's pressure and activity winning the close rounds and Antillon being able to trap Soto against the ropes as often as he did. It's a tossup though, depending on what the individual prefers, because it's an even matchup that has to take place to settle who'd win.

Broner could def outbox Matthyse but he would need to be wary of Matthyse power broner is not difficult to hit clean and I don't think you want to let Matthyse catch you clean so we'll see with this fight

lets be real... Lucas flattens Broner. Broner aint that hard to hit at all, unless he all of a sudden grows mobility and core rotation. Broner looks like a million bucks against smaller guys and lighter punchers, but Matts is neither. He would end Broner. Broner would be wise to avoid Matts... And Maidana too.


But I hope he doesn't.

Broner is just plain ******, pederson fought like he should, buthe got rough up,broken down and knocked out because his apponent was better and stronge then him.

The only way to beat Lucas is if you have extremly fast hands and can get away even faster.

Judag fought the perfect fight against lucas, yet he still got put in his ass, and lucas is much better today

The thing that gets me about any confident fan of Broner is that there is no proof... You're comparing him to Demarco who has done nothing in his career to deserve the comparison

Watch the Ponce De Leon fight... No matter who u think deserved the win, it was a close rough and tumble fight for Broner AT BEST (at worst, he got outworked and lost)... Ponce De Leon is not on Matthysse's level neither skill-wise or power-wise, it's that simple...
