    What happened to Shumenov??

He currently is the 175 WBA champion but hasn't fought in a year. He's not that skilled but he comes to fight and is pretty entertaining. Fighting guys like Tavoris Cloud or Chad Dawson would make perfect sense and you'd think guys like that would jump on an opportunity to try and pick up a title.

Who cares? Campillo beat him and he's a bum apparently....so what does that make Shumenov?

(NSB logic since last week after Kovalev beat white)

Yep That's rhe NSB logic, no doubt. But still, he's got a title and I think he could be matched in some intriguing fights (i.e Dawson, Cloud).

No doubt. I've read on here a couple of times that he's signed with 50 cent now? Not sure if true, but if it is, maybe 50 can make him more active.

I think a Shumenov-Cloud fight would be entertaining.

Interesting! IMO Cloud vs Shumenov would be a non stop war!

I do remember when word of Pascal Bute falling apart Shumenov offered to step in for Bute on short notice and now that you mentioned it I do recall 50 cent being involved in that offer.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. When I read the article I was stoked, that was a perfect replacement. You can't find a better replacement then a world champion. Not sure why pascals camp turned that down, I think he would of had a better chance beating Shumenov then Bute personally, IMO

He rejected an offer to fight Cleverly in the UK towards the end of last year. Apparently they wanted to do it in America but no one would buy the fight. Has he fought on US TV before?

I agree it was the best possible replacement. But I'm sure too much money involved for Pascal Bute they didn't want to risk it and opted just to reschedule.
