Broner has to beat Malignaggi, the current champ, and Thurman has to beat Chaves, the current WBA interim champ. I dont think it will be as easy as they think, for either one.

Thurman by UD. Thurman's too tough at 147 for anyone like Broner. You need a guy like Lucas/Floyd to tame Thurman.

We don't even know if Thurman really can fight. Quintana put up less resistance than the French army. His power might be a little overrated. The first durable guy he fought took him 12 rounds.

And that same durable guy put it on Berto. Thurman is the truth. Didn't get phased one time in that fight. Pardon the pun.

That's more of a testament to his power, that Zaveck had to stay in a shell.

Not to mention, he fought him at 154. Thurman @ 147 is even scarier.

Berto got zero credit for that win. So im not giving Thurman any either. Although that was the best I've ever seen him look. He actually set up combinations. Before he always looked like a street fighter to me.

You could be right. But ill wait until he beats someone of note.

OMG yes. Pure dogfight. Nothing better. Ultimately, I think Thurman would be more scared of Matthysse's power, and try to box him.

                      Slight edge to Lucas.
