Golden Boy and Top Rank battling to sign Lomachenko?

In the coming days, you may receive the news about the future of Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko champion - winner of the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012 and the 2009 World Championship in Milan and in Baku in 2011. Lomachenko yesterday went to the U.S. for the evaluation of proposals from foreign boxing organizations and discuss the terms of his professional career away. Basil did not disclose the names of companies with which the negotiations, but it is easy to guess that it's Bob Arum Top Rank and Golden Boy Oscar de la Hoya. Only such a rich and important, the companies that control most of the television market, can become a reliable partner for the sports and financial success, Ukrainian Champion. Even Don King expressed great interest in acquiring Lomachenko but controversial promoter in our sole opinion, would be for the Ukrainian not the best solution. fair to say that companies are willing to put the purse under contract Lomachenko serious amount, although we still need to make sure whether Basil repeated outstanding achievements as a pro, as they are two completely different reality with amateur boxing. classic has become a professional, it would be against the enormous harm AIBA project that, through its franchise APB, would like to control all movement in full boxing. I'd rather him to sign with K2 Promotions. He wouldn't have to choose beetwen Showtime and HBO

To fight out of Germany? Just looking at the K2 site, do they only have 6 fighters?

GGG is with K2...With his style and skills Lomachenko will be on HBO or SHO or both, no doubt about it.

I'd like to see him with a promoter who won't protect him, but at the same time won't throw him to the wolves too early.

GBP wouldn't look after Lomachenko imo, TR wouldn't be great for him either.

lol fair point, but I don't think GBP looked after Matthysse properly landing him 2 robbery losses. Now they're trying to catch up because they realise these two are the most exciting fighters around.
