I like and respect Andre Ward, but it seems he's a bit desperate for a worthy opponent. He's been trying to bait JCC Jr. to fight him as well as Froch but it doesn't seem like much is left for him at 168, yet he isn't quite ready to move to 175lb. If he doesn't get the fight with JCC Jr. or Froch, what do you all feel about him fighting GGG at 168 since GGG said he will fight from 154-168 and even 175 for Hopkins. Is it high risk small reward? I personally feel since GGG is being pushed pretty good by HBO, If Ward beat GGG it would be more impressive than beating JCC Jr. or Adonis Stevenson, or Froch again. Let me know your thoughts.

GGG ain't ready for Ward at this time. I'd like for GGG to beat Geale, Martinez, Quillen, then Ward. If he loses to Ward, it won't be as devastating for his career, since he's already established himself as the undisputed MW champ.

Lose to Ward, go back down to MW and reign supreme again.

Besides, GGG's too small for SMW. Ward needs to pick on guys his own size and bigger. Stop weight draining your opponents, and calling out smaller guys.

His heart is plenty big, but his body isn't.

Golovkin would make a terrible mistake in fighting Ward. With his surge in popularity, he needs to build a fan base that will stay with him through a loss. Fighting Ward now would only kill the momentum he's built.

Can GGG fight a couple true middleweights first? He just did a light middleweight tour via Canelo '47 style.

                Ward devours guy.

The difference was Golovkin couldn't get a real MW to get in the ring with him whereas Canelo had a line full of JMWs wanting to fight him.

Doesn't matter now...first things first and That's Macklin. If GGG wins he should focus on other 160 pounders. Ward fight doesn't make a lot of sense imo.

the question isnt should Ward fight Triple G. The question is should Triple G fight Ward and the answer is NO. Ward would jump at a fight with triple G at 168. Thats easy money.
