Carl Froch says he’s ‘deeply honoured’ by the decision from Nottingham City Council to hold a civic reception for him tomorrow night (Thursday June 20) at the Council House in the city centre.
The Cobra is riding high after avenging his defeat against Mikkel Kessler in a stunning fight at the O2 Arena on May 25 live on Sky Sports Box Office, and Froch will address his adoring Nottingham fans after 7pm.
“It’s a fantastic gesture from the City Council and a great chance to me to thank the people of Nottingham for their amazing support, not just for the Kessler fight but ever since I began boxing,” said Froch. “It’s a real honour for me to be able to address the city I love like this and I cannot wait for tomorrow night when the fans turn out in their droves to come and see me.” [Click Here To Read More]
